How to use this irrigator: step-by-step user guide
- Fill the reservoir with warm water or the enema solution prescribed by your doctor. Screw on the nozzle.
- Position yourself in the shower, standing, with your legs apart. Or sit on the toilet.
- In one of these positions, insert the probe (cannula) into the vagina and slowly squeeze the pump with gentle and constant pressure. The water enters the vaginal cavity and will loosen matter (white discharge, menstruation) from the walls.
- Once the reservoir is empty, remove the cannula from the vagina. Let the liquid drain freely into the toilet.
Vaginal irrigation should not be performed excessively, as this risks unbalancing the vaginal microbial flora. If in doubt, ask your doctor for advice.
