👨⚕️ A recognized practice: water colonic irrigation (or evacuant enema) can be indicated in cases of chronic or occasional constipation in adults, discomfort or sluggish bowels, as well as for the removal of fecal impaction. The enema can also be prescribed in preparation for an endoscopic or radiological examination, or before surgery.

Advice on using the Enema Kit
1- Connect the hose to the bag and screw the cannula onto the hose, ensuring the valve is in the closed position.
2- Fill the bag with lukewarm water (about 37°C, i.e., body temperature) and hang it up high (the higher it is, the stronger the pressure will be).
3- Open the valve and let the water flow to clear the air inside the hose, then close the valve.
4- Lubricate the cannula with vegetable oil, petroleum jelly, or a lubricating gel.
5- Lie down in your bathtub on your side or on your back and bring your knees toward your chest. If you do not have a bathtub, place a towel on the floor.
6- Insert the lubricated tip into the anus and open the valve. The water enters the rectum and will soften and loosen fecal matter from the intestinal walls.
7- Let the water flow into the colon for as long as is comfortable, then close the valve. You can remain lying down while breathing calmly, or practice light massages on your lower abdomen.
8- When the urge to evacuate is felt, stand up slowly and go to the toilet without delay.
Maintenance advice: After each use, separate the components (cannula and reservoir) and wash them with soapy water or an antiseptic solution. Rinse and let dry. Store in a cool, dry place, away from light.
